The Hagerstown Women's Volleyball team remains undefeated in conference play after winning against Anne Arundel CC and Garrett College, 3-0 and 3-1 respectively in a tri-match at Anne Arundel Community College this past weekend. The Hawks move to an overall record of 5-2 on the season (3-0 in MDJUCO). Setting the pace for the Lady Hawks over the doubleheader were freshman, Emily Gasaway and sophomore captain, Paige Elliott. Both recorded over 20 kills between the two matches, while adding over 30 assists each. Freshman libero, Alaryss Medina posted stellar defensive performances, as she once again was all over the floor throughout each set, accumulating 19 Digs on the day. The "scrappy-ness" of this defensive driven team continues to be the heart of their success as they look forward to the next challenge at home this Wednesday, September 11th , 6pm, against Carroll CC.
