In a battle of undefeated teams in the MDJUCO Conference, Hagerstown took down Montgomery College in a thriller on Friday (25-11), (21-25), (25-19), (19-25), (15-8).
Kiersten Erickson led with 20 kills and two blocks.
Katie Morgan had 13 kills, while Drew Gordon had nine.
Morgan Dyer recorded eight kills and four blocks.
Lexie Schlotterbeck had six kills and four blocks.
Alyssa Shoemaker had 28 digs.
Britney Malphurs finished the contest with 28 assists, and Maddie Miller had 23.
"What a great atmosphere we had tonight," Head Coach Rebecca Morgan said. "I'm happy that so many people came out to support our hometown heroes, first responders, police, and military personnel home and abroad."
The Lady Hawks are headed towards the end of their regular season and have their eyes on the region tournament.
"I am proud of how our girls are responding in games when they are under pressure," Morgan said. "This game showed us the areas to focus on for regionals on November 2-3."
Hagerstown will wrap up their five game home stand on Wednesday October 23 at home against Harford CC at 7:00PM where they will look to win their 15th match in a row.
