
In Tuesday's match, the Hagerstown women went down 1-0 in the first minute against Anne Arundel CC, and held the Riverhawks until the 76th minute when Mikaila Ek (7) scored on an assist by Megan Stauch (5) to even the score 1-1. In the 86th minute, Anne Arundel took the lead 2-1, scoring off of a penalty kick for the win. "The team started flat and didn't get into a rythem until the second half," stated head coach, Clifton Williams. "We will regroup and continue to develop ways to capitalize on opportunites, getting to the goal, and finishing."
