At the 44th minute of the first half, Maggie Elwood (#7,) scored the first goal on an assist by Elizabeth Shank (#3,) giving the Hawks a 1-0 lead over the Catamounts going into halftime in Monday's game. 

From offensive changes put in place to start the second half, Elwood scored again at the 63rd minute, on a penalty kick to raise the score to 2-0.  Abigail Spielman, (#25) scored the Hawks 3rd goal on an assist by Megan Stauch (#5).  Potomac State's Taylor Layton (#14) scored a late goal, to make the final score 3-1, Hawks. Bailey Burkett had 5 saves out of 6 shots on goal for Hagerstown.
