The Hawks men's soccer team made it 2 wins in a row, with a 5-0 win over Penn State Schuylkill to move their record to 7-7. The Hawks put the pressure on early and often, scoring 4 goals in the first 30 minutes. The Hawks first goal was a product of good team play with the Hawks moving the ball well to find Carlos Pazos in an advanced position before he slid a great ball to Matt Kinsall, who then put the ball away for the 1-0 lead in the 10th minute. 5 minutes later the Hawks would score again as Ben Rankin played a great ball to Carlos Pazos who slotted it home to make it 2-0. Ben Rankin then finished off the 1st half scoring in the 22nd and 27th minutes with two great finishes from passes from Carlos Pazos. The Hawks would continue to attack Schuylkill's goal in the 2nd half forcing the away keeper to make save after save but could only come away with one more goal. Good team play again led to Ethan Fulton's 2nd goal in as many games after a pinpoint pass from Ben Rankin. The Hawks finished the evening with 27 total shots and putting 14 on frame. Hawk keepers Braydon Blair, and Chris Garcia combined for the shutout, facing 2 shots from the Schuylkill attack. The Hawks will try to make it 3 in a row this Thursday, October 10th at 4:00 PM at home vs Southern Maryland.
