Hawks Win Two in a Row

HAGERSTOWN, Maryland - Their second win this week, the Hagerstown Hawks took on the Baltimore City Panthers and got the win with a final score of 73-62. 

 

Taking the lead at the beginning, the team excelled in both offense and defense last night getting a total of 24 rebounds. Of those 24 rebounds, 21 of them were defensive. Working together and court awareness were the two main components to solidify the win. 

 

With everyone contributing to the scoreboard, Kyree Ellis (12) was the top scorer with 14 points, Kristoff Hayden (10) with 13 points, and Bennie McDuffie (2) with 11 points. Ellis was also the leading rebounder with seven rebounds, and McDuffie had the most assists with a total of four. 

 

The Hawks next game will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday the 28th at WVU Potomac State College. WVU Potomac State has a record of 4-14 and the hawks with a current record of 10-11.
