Hawks split with Essex

CCBC Essex scored two runs in the bottom of the 7th to edge the Hawks 4-3 in the opener of a doubleheader played in Baltimore on Thursday. Isaiah Reed threw six strong innings, allowing only 1 run, with Noah Tabaie taking the loss in relief. Brenden Moshos had three hits and Corey Walters had 2 hits in the game.

Moshos went three for four in game two, including a 2 run home run and 4 RBIs.  Maddux Grove pitched 3.1 innings to get the win in relief, and Riley Jackson pitched the final 2 outs to earn the save.
