
After a close 4-3 loss to Miami-Hamilton, Hagerstown CC, 6-4 overall, won their second game on Tuesday against Hibbing Community College (9-2), and came away yesterday with back to back wins against Ancilla College (10-0) and Hibbing Community College (8-3) at the Jackie Robinson Sport Complex, Vero Beach, FL.
Joshua Clapsaddle had 4 hits to include a double and home run along with 4 RBIs in yesterday's win against Ancilla College. Winning pitcher for the Hawks, Bryce Romsburg, pitched 5 innings, facing 19 batters, giving up 3 hits and striking out 8.
Maddux Grove got the win against Hibbing Community College in yesterday's matchup, pitching 6 innings, giving up 3 runs off of 8 hits, and striking out 3. TJ Kalagher, Matthew Kulikowski and Noah Wiggins had 2 hits each, with one of Kalagher's hits being a home run.
The Hawks play the College of Lake County today, Indian River State College tomorrow, and finish their Vero Beach schedule with Team Ontario on Saturday, before returning home to Hagerstown.
Scotland Campus comes to HCC on Wednesday, March 16th for the Hawks home opener.
