
Ryan Greene allowed seven hits and struck out three on Sunday as Hagerstown Community College won the first game in a doubleheader split with the Shenandoah University JVs.
With the victory, the freshman from Williamsport moved his record to 2-1.
Josh Menders had two hits and two RBIs, Robbie Houck and Branden Lynch (Southern Fulton) each had two hits and Nate Cotton blasted his first home run. The Hawks (16-7) broke the game open with a four-run third inning.
HCC dropped the nightcap, though, falling 8-5.
Cotton had a triple and single and drove in two runs for HCC, while Andrew Mathias and Spencer Martin each had run-scoring hits.
