Hawks double down on Tuesday in Vero Beach

VERO BEACH, Fla. — Josh Colliflower pitched six-plus innings for the win, and Dylan Reid got the final three outs for the save as Hagerstown Community College defeated the Canadian Baseball Academy in Florida on Tuesday.

Colliflower (2-0) allowed two runs and three hits while striking out five. Reid entered in the seventh with runners on second and third and no outs, with HCC leading 3-1. Reid retired all three batters he faced, with the Canadians scoring their second run on a sacrifice fly.

Robbie Houck hit a triple and scored all three runs for the Hawks (4-2). Austin Moser had two hits and Josh Menders had an RBI single.

HCC 10, Manor College 3

VERO BEACH, Fla. — Austin Moser had two hits, including a double, and three RBIs and Hagerstown Community College scored 10 runs in its last three sets of at-bats, including five in the sixth inning, in a win over Manor College on Tuesday night.

Evan Marushak had two hits, including a triple, and an RBI, Spencer Martin had two hits and an RBI, Mitch Potter had two hits and Branden Lynch, Cole Bernier, Zach Depoy and Connor Schildt combined for 11 strikeouts for the Hawks (5-2).
