Tyler Ackerman is an experienced and dedicated strength and conditioning coach who has been shaping athletes' performance for over a decade. Currently serving as the Fitness Center Coordinator and Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Hagerstown Community College (HCC), Tyler plays a crucial role in promoting physical fitness and enhancing athletic performance for students and athletes alike.

With a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Penn State University, Tyler has a strong academic foundation in exercise science, biomechanics, and human physiology, which he applies to his comprehensive coaching approach. His work spans a variety of athletes, from beginners to seasoned competitors, across numerous sports. Tyler's philosophy emphasizes building strength, improving mobility, and promoting injury prevention to help athletes reach their full potential.

Tyler holds several prestigious certifications in the field of strength and conditioning, including the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credential from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), the USA Weightlifting Level 2 (USAW-L2) certification, and the Certified Speed and Agility Coach (CSAC). These certifications reflect his commitment to staying current with the latest advancements in the field, ensuring his training methods are effective, science-driven, and tailored to individual needs.
